Annual Fall Fair Recap

For over 30 years, our lovely town of Center Moriches has come together for our Annual Fall Fair, and this year was no different! On Saturday, October 20th, the streets were filled with people enjoying the autumn weather and each other’s company.

This was the second year we have closed the street and it has made all the difference. There was a laid back atmosphere surrounding the day and people were able to cross the street without fear of day-dreaming drivers. The weather forecast for the day was daunting, with rain expected, however the rain came and went before the fair started which worked out beautifully.

Improving Our Operation

This was the first year we made use of Neville Park, on Crosby Street, to house our selection of kids activities as well as free pumpkins. We also had a “food court” for the first year which seemed to attract more people.

We would love to hear any comments or concerns about how the fair went or ways we can continue to improve our fairs. As always keep checking our calendar as new events are always being added.
