One of the committee members is on site for the evening.

Fall Festival
The date of this festival is determined by the committee. The idea of this fair is to kick off the holiday shopping season for our local merchants in town. It’s the start of our holiday season. This fair is in conjunction with the Halloween Window Painting and the March of the Goblins. The committee responsibilities again are similar to those of the Summer Fair.

March of the Goblins
The March of the Goblins involves the schools, Center Moriches Fire Department, and the Seventh Precinct of the SCPD. The March is a safe alternative to trick or treating on the side streets of Center Moriches. Traditionally the March is held on October 31 from 4:30-6pm.

Holiday Lighting, Christmas Tree Lighting, Holiday Decorating Contest
This committee is in charge of the holiday lights in Center Moriches and in East Moriches. They check the lights, contact the electrical company for installation, and decide what goes where. This committee is designed to hold a tree lighting event at the Neville Street Park on the Friday evening before the Holiday Light Parade.
