Ethan DeVelvis

Chamber Intern for 2019-2020

Ethan is a Center Moriches High School student going into his senior year. He is the first journalism intern for the Chamber of Commerce and is excited to be working with us.

He is a proud member of the Moriches community, working at a local business and playing for multiple high school sports teams including Varsity Soccer and Track & Field.

After high school he is interested in pursuing journalism or criminal justice and would like to study at the University of Georgia. Other schools he’s interested in are the University of Maryland and Texas A&M.

    It’s that time of the year again, spring is here and with it is the Center Moriches Spring Fair. At this year’s fair, held on June 8th, there was a vendor for every person, reaching any audience. The most prominent tents were the jewelry shops, ranging from handcrafted necklaces and bracelets, to cheaper, but still stylish jewelry. However, there was no lack of impressive food vendors. One of the most important things about living in a small community like Moriches is supporting local businesses.
